Making Sense Together
Life and the relationships we form have a way of launching feelings and experiences our way that we're not always prepared to handle. Guilt that haunts our past, buried beliefs that enhance anxieties, or despair that paralyzes us from moving forward can all create a tangled web of negative behaviors, feelings, and thoughts. The way you live and approach your life can be shifted into a more positive direction to allow you to increase your self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-awareness. Relational psychotherapy is about providing you with a safe, empathetic space to share, be heard, and be understood.
Some of the psychological and emotional challenges clients may face include:
• Depression & Anxiety
• Addictions
• Trauma
• Relationship Counseling
• Unresolved Childhood Issues
• Self Worth Issues (inner and outer self-image)
• Mental Health Concerns
• Career and/or Big Life Changes
• First Time Parent Anxieties
• Infertility Issues
• LGBT Issues
• Loss & Grief
Everyone's story is different. We can help.
Couples Counseling
Working with Couples and Building a Stronger Connection
Every relationship requires work. We are all individuals with different backgrounds, beliefs, past experiences, and perspectives. It's natural for even the most fulfilling, strong couples to experience speed bumps. But sometimes, differences or situations cannot be resolved between two people. Seeking the help of a therapist may be required to uncover the root causes of conflict, encourage communication, restore intimacy, and reconnect as a couple. Couple's counselling helps you make sense of the issues plaguing your relationship, learn to listen to one another, and create and implement a plan to restore your connection in a healthy way.
Some of the reasons couples seek therapy include:
• Fighting or Miscommunication
• Reconnection
• Infidelity

Child & Adolescent Therapy
Our Child & Adolescent Therapist focuses on therapeutic work personalized to the developmental needs of your child, youth or family.
They will work one on one with clients, provide family therapy and also facilitate group sessions addressing a variety of topics and needs for parents and children. It is important to note that the social skills group sessions are open to ALL children, as for many of the groups; the focus is around social skills development, which is beneficial for all children and youth.
They specialize in child and youth behavioral, mental, developmental and learning disorders and disabilities. They help their clients uncover their capabilities, achieve the full expression of their intellect and abilities, provides them with coping tools and new skill sets while providing support and opportunities for growth.
Individual & Family Sessions
Sessions can be family centered or direct one-on-one work with the child, youth, or consultation work directly with parents/guardians for those individuals seeking some guidance with the child/youth in their life. These sessions will be tailored to the client based on their disability, diagnosis and/or needs.
Behavioral Health IOP
People who might need a slightly more intensive and structured form of care typically benefit the most from an intensive outpatient program. If you or your loved one recently left inpatient treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), or residential treatment, you might benefit from an intensive outpatient program rather than a traditional outpatient program. People who also have a co-occurring disorder or dual diagnosis might benefit from an IOP to help them better manage the effects of living with multiple disorders.
There are so many benefits to participating in an intensive outpatient program. IOPs allow people to access a higher level of treatment services while still maintaining a presence at school or work. You or your loved one can build a support community of peers who are on the same healing journey while still having the support of friends and family when you or your loved one leave treatment.
Intensive outpatient programming also allows individuals to practice their newfound symptom-management skills in real-world settings and then take any questions or concerns they might have right back to the therapy setting. This creates a safe space to learn how to manage your symptoms in a supportive, judgment-free environment. IOPs give individuals the privacy, support, and flexibility to learn how to manage their mental health or addiction challenges so they can live with their disorders — not suffer from them.
Telehealth Therapy via TheraNest

Parenting Education
A deeper self-understanding can help you raise children to thrive. Parent Therapy is a good practice to understand your own experiences and feelings about life and parenting and how this may impact your child.
Parenting can be stressful and emotionally challenging. It's a significant life change that is difficult to prepare for. Many of us adopt parenting techniques from our parents and our past experiences. Sometimes, though, our parenting models aren't always healthy, or we simply are overwhelmed with our new responsibility and life shift along with the emotions that come with it.
Therapy can guide you to become mindful of your experiences, insecurities, and anxieties around parenting. It can create new perspectives and positive resolutions for everyday problems and situations.
Some of the reasons clients seek parent counseling include:
• Postpartum depression or anxiety
• First time parenting anxieties
• Relationship changes (with partners, family, and friends)
